Indian search engine
It seems redundant but I do feel we need a search engine for India. All data on Google is US or Europe centric. Ever tried to search for Khan market or CP or Shopper's stop in Delhi? or Mumbai or anywhere else in India? Chances are results are skewed. I do believe we need a new India centric search engine, may be even an India centric directory. It almost seems like there is a void on internet though India is so far ahead in tech...

India specific search has been a very hot topic over the last one year. In fact, so hot that its beginning to get stale.
You have guruji.com and a couple of others for India specific search. But, sites that I find are BIG value add are onyomo.com, mkhoj.com - both are into local search (find your nearest CCD outlet types).
And, if you want something out of the ordinary, then, there's sangeetix.com - search hindi music, DOWNLOAD it and even find lyrics.
